“Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these…you did it to Me.”
 Matthew 25:40 NKJV

Operation InAsMuch brings together Christians from local churches for a day of hands-on missions. These churches work together to show the love of Jesus by meeting the practical needs of people and agencies in Pitt County.

This year Operation InAsMuch will be held on October 22nd. Churches involved are Arlington Boulevard Baptist, First Christian, Immanuel Baptist, Koinonia, Oakmont Baptist, Peace Presbyterian, Winterville Baptist, Winterville Christian, and Unidos Por Cristo Methodist

First Christian Church, 2810 East 14th Street, Greenville is the host site for Operation InAsMuch this year.

A Donut and Coffee Kickoff from 8:00 - 8:30 AM will be held in First Christian's fellowship hall.

Preschoolers of OIAM volunteers can be dropped off at First Christian for the Preschool Day Camp at 8:00 AM and picked up by 1:00 PM.
Pre-registration by Sunday, October 16 is required for preschoolers, and parents need to bring a bag lunch for them on October 22nd. The preschoolers and children will be doing and learning about age appropriate missions ministry.

Operation T-shirts will be on sale at the October 22 Kickoff for $5 each.

Operation InAsMuch began with the Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC in 1996. Operation InAsMuch has been in Greenville since 1999.

We hope you will prayerfully consider how you can reach others for Christ through Operation InAsMuch. This hands-on mission day is simply another means by which believers can put their faith into practice through the use of their talents and abilities. Operation InAsMuch will allow you to experience the joy of doing what God has instructed all believers to do.

Click on "View Projects" above to see a list of projects where you can serve on October 22nd, and then click on the project to sign up as a volunteer. A project leader will contact you the week prior to October 22nd with instructions on where to meet, what to bring, and what you'll be doing in Operation InAsMuch. Thanks in advance for your participation and prayers for this outreach.

Instead of collecting items to use during Operation InAsMuch, we are collecting money. "Eat one, give one" is the challenge to have everyone donate a quarter ($.25) each time they eat a meal between September 25 - October 22. Bring the ziploc bag of money with you to church on October 16 or to the kickoff on October 22. Money collected will be used by Stop Hunger Now to purchase food and supplies to package over 20,000 rice mixture meals for hungry people in third world countries. One of the OIAM projects will be for our volunteers to package the 20,000 rice meals at First Christian Church. Even if you can't be present on October 22nd, you can donate money ahead of time and still participate in the ministry that will occur as part of Operation InAsMuch.
